Short, and in the same voice as everything else here. These terms cover this website. They are not an agreement to advise you; that starts when you talk to an advisor.
What this site is
A place to learn what your options are, get a rough sense of direction, and reach a real advisor at Bayou Senior Advisors. Reading it does not make you a client and does not obligate you to anything.
What our guidance is, and is not
The guides, the MyCare Recommendation, and the assistant are informational. They are not medical advice, not a diagnosis, not legal advice, and not financial advice. They do not replace a physician, an attorney, or a financial professional, and nothing here creates a clinician and patient relationship or an attorney and client relationship.
If someone is in danger or needs urgent medical attention, call 911.
What the MyCare Recommendation can and cannot tell you
It reads a short set of answers and suggests a starting direction, along with a rough cost range. It is a conversation starter. It has not met the person you are asking about, it does not know their medical history, and it can be wrong. Treat it as one input, and treat an advisor or a clinician who knows the situation as a better one.
Cost figures on this site are estimates. They are not quotes, no provider is bound by them, and actual pricing depends on the specific community, the level of care assessed, and terms we do not control.
The assistant
The assistant is automated. It is not an advisor, it does not have access to your record, and it can be confidently wrong. Anything it says that matters should be confirmed with a person. Do not send it identifiers such as a social security number or a policy number.
What we ask of you
- Give us accurate information, so the guidance is worth anything.
- Only send us details about another person where you are the one arranging their care or you have their agreement.
- Do not scrape, overload, or attempt to break this site, and do not use it to send anything unlawful.
Content on this site
The writing, design, and tools here belong to Bayou Senior Advisors. You are welcome to read them, quote them with attribution, and send them to anyone who needs them. Republishing them as your own is not permitted.
Some guides carry a visible note that they are still under clinical review. Those are exactly what they say they are: not yet ratified. Weigh them accordingly.

We link to agencies, providers, and resources we think are useful. We do not control them and we are not responsible for what they publish or how they behave.
How we are paid
Stated in full on how we are paid. In short: families pay us nothing, and we take no fee on Medicaid-funded care. Read that page; it is the one most worth your time.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date below moves when we do.
